We had the pleasure of building a pavilion in a very sunny region of France in 83440 Montauroux
This is our first pavilion with dimensions of 7m x 5m

The advantage is also limiting the nuisance of construction works and environmental conditions. Conducting production work in the plant, rather than in an open area, reduces carbon dioxide and dust emissions, which directly affects the air quality
Currently, the market situation contributes to the increase in the popularity of modular construction. The increase in the prices of building materials – on the one hand, and the lack of employees – on the other, translate into higher costs for developers, which is why new modular technology improvements, innovative solutions that allow, for example, building high-rise objects.

Modular buildings are mainly built outside the plant, in a dry and safe facility, under strictly controlled conditions, protected from weather conditions, using the same materials (wood, concrete and steel), design codes and architectural specifications, as well as traditional construction methods.

This time, we will discuss the color theme of our pavilions inside and outside.
With the colors of the RAL palette, we meet every day. It has become a platform on which industrial enterprises and service companies and their clients get on with color for color coatings, plastics, etc. The RAL color register is not a legally binding norm, it is rather the basis for a voluntary regulation , aimed at improving the quality of production and services and facilitating the communication of suppliers and customers.

RAL palettes are used to determine the color of countless industrial products, architectural elements and interior furnishings, it is also commonly used in advertising – for example, to specify the color of carriers and markings. By ordering the powder coating of the stand construction, cassette profiles, etc., we will most often be asked to specify the color according to the RAL system. Even dtp, multimedia and polygraph specialists even contact RAL with the need to print or present on the monitor colors that best match the values ​​specified by the customer according to the RAL palette.

A full range of RAL colors and color markings
The RAL color register consists of two collections: RAL Classic and RAL Design System. The most popular RAL stencils include historically the first and relatively narrow collection of RAL Classic, which can be identified by four-digit color determinations. Pavilion Efekt pictures in a standard version

The Eneco Power Plant from the Netherlands trusted us

Recently, we have built two pavilions for the Eneco power plant.
The first one is 12m x 6m and the second one is 5m x 2.75m
The location of the smaller pavilion was in a very difficult place, we had very little space to place the pavilion, photos below.

Site preparation (concrete blocks)

Lastly, I briefly described the concrete foundation which in our opinion is the best solution, but it is also possible to prepare the substrate with concrete blocks

The main advantage of concrete blocks over a concrete foundation is that they are ready to be purchased and used in readiness. This means that you do not have to worry about the intense preparation and drying process. Our team will advise you that concrete blocks are sufficient to be used as a ground base under our building. Our architect assesses the size of the building and gives advice on the type of foundation needed. As part of the construction permit process, the local council will advise you if the current plot area is suitable for construction. The nature of our buildings is not permanent, but portable, which means that in most cases there is no need for additional tests on the ground.

Important information that you need to know about concrete blocks is how to arrange them. This will be developed by our architect during the design process and the customer will receive a special plan for the distribution of concrete blocks (as in the picture below)

The contractor can then put concrete blocks for you.
If you have any experience in this type of work, you can potentially put it. The level of concrete blocks is the most important and will be checked by our team before modular assembly so that it can be slightly adjusted if necessary.
However, when concrete blocks are used, you will be left with empty spaces under the building. We cover the empty prestige with special metal cladding in the color of the pavilion

Preparation of the area under the Pavilion

A place must be prepared before delivery of the modular building. This requirement is the preparation of the substrate. This is mainly aimed at leveling the ground / surface area. Depending on the size and type of the building, we always advise on the option. There are various types of preparation of the ground base during the construction of the modular building.

Today I will briefly discuss the concrete foundation which in our opinion is the best solution

– concrete base

The beethoven base can be used to prepare the ground under our portable cabins. The concrete base is the best choice for ground preparation and we often recommend it to our clients. The main reason is the reliability of the concrete base. In particular, if the construction is to be carried out on a soft surface, the large slab of the concrete base will prevent the foundation of the building from settling on either side. The concrete base prepared in the right way is a very stable and safe ground. When the ground base is checked, discussed with our architect and prepared in the right way, all potential problems with building settlement will be avoided.

The concrete base may seem a little more difficult in terms of preparation compared to other available methods of substrate preparation. This is definitely a more time-consuming but properly prepared concrete base is a safe, long-lasting substrate solution.

I would like to emphasize the concrete base is a universal and safe option, but it is not the only option.

Which type of cranes is best for unloading

In order to unload your newly purchased modular building, we will require a crane. There are generally two crane types which we recommend using. It’s either the HiAb crane or a static crane.

During the process of unloading, the building is lifted as a whole and set in the correct position. If the building is large, it will consists of more parts. Each part of the building is then lifted separately, placed next to one another and joined together by our crew.

Prior to the building assembly you will be sent some information, particularly regarding the weight of your modular building. This is in order to help you choose which type of crane is required. We will always advise further if needed.


As you can see at the photo above, during unloading, a crane is equipped with a hoist lifting belt and a spread beam. These are used together in order to lift and unload a modular building. Spread beam can be supplied by the crane company or by us in some cases. Spread beam we provide, can be used in order to lift the building depending on its weight. This beam can be used up to a maximum of 4000 kg load. If the maximum load is higher, the modular building must be unloaded with the use of a crane company’s spread beam.

Other than the need for a HiAb crane, sometimes, there may be need for a static crane use instead. Most often, static crane is required in places with difficult access. Static crane may also be needed if the building is particularly heavy or large. When it comes to the process of unloading, static crane, similar to a HiAb, is equipped with a hoist lifting belt and a spread beam in order to unload a modular building. The price of a static crane use is in fact higher in comparison to a HiAb. If situation requires it though, the use of a static crane may be unavoidable.

What is a Modular Building?

The modules are bolted together to generate buildings of a size and configuration tailored to individual requirements. The individual modules can be delivered to a fully equipped place, eg:
– in electrical installations
– hydraulic installation
– internal rooms, for example a toilet or kitchen
Our modular building systems meet all building codes and approvals, providing comprehensive buildings suitable for long-term use.
They are used in a very wide assortment, office, catering, shop and even flat. Inheritances They are widely used by schools, universities or companies of all local authorities, hospitals and health care facilities.

Walls of a modular building

Sandwich panels are characterized by low own weight while maintaining high energy-saving parameters, therefore the sandwich panels of our production are an ideal cladding material for low-cost construction with the possibility of easy dismantling of sandwich panels and construction and changing the location of the facility without compromising the insulation parameters of such a building.

The plate is mounted to the structure using self-drilling screws.

In addition, the impressive surface and color of the sandwich panels provide a wide range of architectural solutions. Our company, striving to satisfy all the requirements and needs posed by our client, we offer a whole range of colors of sandwich panels (all colors in the RAL palette available after additional arrangements). In the production of our board, as an additional solution, we use a soft polyurethane foam insert that fulfills two tasks:

Filling the gap on the joining of two plates removes the freezing point
It eliminates the use of mounting foams
The sandwich panel is made of galvanized sheet steel on both sides. Steel sheets coated prior to painting pass the hot dip galvanizing phase. The next step is to “coat” the surface with coatings of different chemical composition.
The basic coatings used for the production of sandwich panels are polyesters, polyurethane paints and PVDF. The final stage is to protect the surface with a protective film.
The sheet metal colors used for the production of sandwich panels are determined with the customer in accordance with the RAL color classification.
The filling of the board is depending on the needs: Styrofoam, polyurethane foam or mineral wool.

Roof panel of a modular building, pavilion, portable buildings

The roof panels of our pavilions can also be used for roof coverings in: public facilities (office buildings, administration and social buildings, back-office facilities, supermarkets), sports and exhibition facilities (sports and entertainment halls, swimming pools), commercial buildings and industrial buildings (cold stores, freezers, dryers, storage rooms, food processing plants, workshops, car washes, car dealerships, service stations), halls and hangars (industrial, storage, production), objects of the so-called container construction (pavilions, catering kiosks), modular buildings, portable buildings, commercial and service facilities, petrol stations, terminals (airports, border crossings), stations, depots, industrial and sports halls, production and storage buildings, trade and service pavilions, catering pavilions, construction facilities, social and administrative buildings, operating cabins located in covered production halls, etc.

If technical approvals allow such a possibility, some types of roof panels may also be used for the construction of ceilings from the inside.
