In the future it will be used as an office.

Pavilion colors

Pavilion colors

This time, we will discuss the color theme of our pavilions inside and outside.
With the colors of the RAL palette, we meet every day. It has become a platform on which industrial enterprises and service companies and their clients get on with color for color coatings, plastics, etc. The RAL color register is not a legally binding norm, it is rather the basis for a voluntary regulation , aimed at improving the quality of production and services and facilitating the communication of suppliers and customers.

RAL palettes are used to determine the color of countless industrial products, architectural elements and interior furnishings, it is also commonly used in advertising – for example, to specify the color of carriers and markings. By ordering the powder coating of the stand construction, cassette profiles, etc., we will most often be asked to specify the color according to the RAL system. Even dtp, multimedia and polygraph specialists even contact RAL with the need to print or present on the monitor colors that best match the values specified by the customer according to the RAL palette.

A little more information

A full range of RAL colors and color markings
The RAL color register consists of two collections: RAL Classic and RAL Design System. The most popular RAL stencils include historically the first and relatively narrow collection of RAL Classic, which can be identified by four-digit color determinations. Its small range is the main drawback, visible above all in the range of the brightest colors.

Competition from the NCS system and Sikkens pallets, mobilized RAL Institut to create a rich palette of RAL Design System, meeting the requirements of designers and architects and having reference to color description systems. The RAL Design System colors are marked with seven digits.
Both pallets are not connected in any way and do not complement each other. The Classic collection is kept only because of its popularity.

Color description key according to RAL CLASSIC

1XXX – yellow, from 1000 to 1034, a total of 27 colors
2XXX – orange colors, from 2000 to 2012, a total of 12 colors
3XXX – reds, from 3000 to 3031, a total of 22 colors
4XXX – violet colors, from 4001 to 4010, in total 10 colors
5XXX – blues, from 5,000 to 5024 in total 23 colors
6XXX – greens, from 6000 to 6034, a total of 32 colors

Pavilion Efekt pictures in a standard version

Today I will present a few photos from the interior of the pavilion in a standard version.
I will remind quickly;
All pavilions Efekt built on steel construction, protected against corrosion.
The floor also on the steel structure from the outside we have a sheet, then the insulation from polystyrene and on top OSB board, the customer wishes we can put additional PVC panels.
Pictures of the completion of the pavilion with a floor with a PVC floor will be presented in the next post

Why modular construction

Modular buildings – made of ready-made, prefabricated spatial prefabricates. The construction of this type of facility can be used for several dozens of modules.

Our pavilions are modern modules that can be high-quality objects indistinguishable from traditional construction

Modular buildings are programmed in the maximum shortening of the implementation time for the user. Modular construction is particularly popular in Western countries. This is important from the point of view of quality management technology, independence from weather conditions. It is important, for example, for buildings built in city centers

These solutions are even used in public facilities such as hospitals, laboratories, schools, or kindergartens.

Modular buildings are also used for commercial buildings as commercial pavilions, small catering facilities, gas stations and the like.

The Eneco Power Plant from the Netherlands trusted us

Recently, we have built two pavilions for the Eneco power plant.
The first one is 12m x 6m and the second one is 5m x 2.75m
The location of the smaller pavilion was in a very difficult place, we had very little space to place the pavilion, photos below.

At a later time, he put a few photos from the unloading of a larger pavilion built of 4 modules.
I invite you to read.

Site preparation (concrete blocks)

Lastly, I briefly described the concrete foundation which in our opinion is the best solution, but it is also possible to prepare the substrate with concrete blocks

– concrete blocks

The main advantage of concrete blocks over a concrete foundation is that they are ready to be purchased and used in readiness. This means that you do not have to worry about the intense preparation and drying process. Our team will advise you that concrete blocks are sufficient to be used as a ground base under our building. Our architect assesses the size of the building and gives advice on the type of foundation needed. As part of the construction permit process, the local council will advise you if the current plot area is suitable for construction. The nature of our buildings is not permanent, but portable, which means that in most cases there is no need for additional tests on the ground.

Important information that you need to know about concrete blocks is how to arrange them. This will be developed by our architect during the design process and the customer will receive a special plan for the distribution of concrete blocks (as in the picture below)

The contractor can then put concrete blocks for you.
If you have any experience in this type of work, you can potentially put it. The level of concrete blocks is the most important and will be checked by our team before modular assembly so that it can be slightly adjusted if necessary.
However, when concrete blocks are used, you will be left with empty spaces under the building. We cover the empty prestige with special metal cladding in the color of the pavilion

Preparation of the area under the Pavilion

A place must be prepared before delivery of the modular building. This requirement is the preparation of the substrate. This is mainly aimed at leveling the ground / surface area. Depending on the size and type of the building, we always advise on the option. There are various types of preparation of the ground base during the construction of the modular building.

Today I will briefly discuss the concrete foundation which in our opinion is the best solution

– concrete base

The beethoven base can be used to prepare the ground under our portable cabins. The concrete base is the best choice for ground preparation and we often recommend it to our clients. The main reason is the reliability of the concrete base. In particular, if the construction is to be carried out on a soft surface, the large slab of the concrete base will prevent the foundation of the building from settling on either side. The concrete base prepared in the right way is a very stable and safe ground. When the ground base is checked, discussed with our architect and prepared in the right way, all potential problems with building settlement will be avoided.

The concrete base may seem a little more difficult in terms of preparation compared to other available methods of substrate preparation. This is definitely a more time-consuming but properly prepared concrete base is a safe, long-lasting substrate solution.

I would like to emphasize the concrete base is a universal and safe option, but it is not the only option.

In future articles, we will discuss other options for the preparation of the ground base.

Our realizations

With one click you can find all our previous realizations and see what we have been doing so far. We would like to share it with you. To view our implementation map, just click here http://efektmaps.com/ or by visiting our website (https://modernpavilion.co.uk/), open the “Our Realizations” tab.

After hovering over the map marked on the map, you will be able to find out details about the location of the cabins. You can also find out for what type of business, which cabin was used, as well as information about customers. Each implementation is accompanied by a picture of the cabin, which, hopefully, gives an idea of the design possibilities. It is worth remembering that there are many options for modular buildings, and the decision depends on the requirements. We adapt the design to your needs. Some customer groups have some preferences and classic choices that may sometimes seem similar. See examples of our orders in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium that are variable. Look at our clients in the UK that you can find and see in real life if you like. Check also other locations to find out where we were. Most importantly, with our help, you can hope that you will inspire yourself to create your own, ideal modular building project.

Unloading and assembly of the Pavilion in the Netherlands

As before, I said this time unloading and assembly of the Modular building in the Netherlands
Below are some photos from the unloading of the 6×5 Pavilion.
A very popular building in the Netherlands because it is our third identical modular building in the Netherlands.
In the near future video clip and conversation with our client.

What is a Modular Building?

Due to numerous questions about the modular pavilions below a brief description of the building.
Modular buildings, offices, portable buildings, etc. They are erected from several or a dozen or so modules with a steel structure. The modules are bolted together to generate buildings of a size and configuration tailored to individual requirements. The individual modules can be delivered to a fully equipped place, eg:
– in electrical installations
– hydraulic installation
– internal rooms, for example a toilet or kitchen
Our modular building systems meet all building codes and approvals, providing comprehensive buildings suitable for long-term use.
They are used in a very wide assortment, office, catering, shop and even flat. Inheritances They are widely used by schools, universities or companies of all local authorities, hospitals and health care facilities.

Modular construction is quickly recognized as the best sustainable solution for the environmental challenges of modern construction. What’s more, because a modular building consists of individual modules, it can be easily and safely expanded, reduced in size or reconfigured to meet ever-changing requirements.
What is very important, each pavilion’s modules are based on a steel frame.
Modular buildings can be used for long-term, temporary or permanent facilities.

An example of a picture of the pavilion’s finish with dimensions of 6×5 from two modules

I will place more information about components in the near future

Walls of a modular building

Sandwich panels are characterized by low own weight while maintaining high energy-saving parameters, therefore the sandwich panels of our production are an ideal cladding material for low-cost construction with the possibility of easy dismantling of sandwich panels and construction and changing the location of the facility without compromising the insulation parameters of such a building.

The plate is mounted to the structure using self-drilling screws.

In addition, the impressive surface and color of the sandwich panels provide a wide range of architectural solutions. Our company, striving to satisfy all the requirements and needs posed by our client, we offer a whole range of colors of sandwich panels (all colors in the RAL palette available after additional arrangements). The standard color of the board is white. We invite you to the article: “Why choose the white color of the roof sandwich panel”.

In the production of our board, as an additional solution, we use a soft polyurethane foam insert that fulfills two tasks:

Filling the gap on the joining of two plates removes the freezing point
It eliminates the use of mounting foams
The sandwich panel is made of galvanized sheet steel on both sides. Steel sheets coated prior to painting pass the hot dip galvanizing phase. The next step is to “coat” the surface with coatings of different chemical composition.
The basic coatings used for the production of sandwich panels are polyesters, polyurethane paints and PVDF. The final stage is to protect the surface with a protective film.
The sheet metal colors used for the production of sandwich panels are determined with the customer in accordance with the RAL color classification.
The filling of the board is depending on the needs: Styrofoam, polyurethane foam or mineral wool.

Additional protection on the roof of our Modular Buildings

A few words about the additional protection we give to the roofs of our pavilions, technical approvals and approvals

PVC roof waterproofing membranes is a product group that NBI know very well.Different field investigations as well as accelerated weathering tests in the laboratory indicate that such products may have a long service life.

When a PVC roof waterproofing membrane hold an NBI Technical Approval, NBI expect a normal service life of at least 25 years when applied according to the producers guide and when subjected to inspections and necessary maintenance..

NBI Technical Approvals Nos 2008 and 2010 granted Protan PVC Roof Waterproofing.
Membranes are based on these contracted presuppositions epectation.
